RIDE RULES TO FOLLOW ON PUBLIC TRANSIT

·       A valid boarding pass must be used to travel on public transportation.

·       Our passengers are required to prepare their boarding passes before getting into the vehicle.

·       Discounted, subscription or free Elkards are personalized.

·       It is obligatory for those who use personalized cards to show their card to the personnel in charge without being asked.

·       It is forbidden to obtain tickets from inside vehicles and tram stations.

·       It is forbidden to enter vehicles and tram stations without a ticket. The stowaway is punished in accordance with the law numbered 1608.

·       Children between the ages of 0-6 benefit from free boarding provided that they are accompanied by their parents. Do not take your children away from you during the journey.

·       Contactless debit cards are valid for vehicles.

·       The Elkards of those who attempt to travel with someone else's personalized Elkart are confiscated by the officials.

·       The penal sanction determined by the Municipal Council is applied to the personalized Elkart holders confiscated by the officials.

·       Citizens who are in a situation of excessive alcoholism that endangers themselves and other passengers cannot travel by public transportation.

·       It is forbidden to stop and park the vehicle in a way that prevents the bus from approaching the pockets at the stops.

·       Our passengers are required to prepare and press the stop button before arriving at the stop where they will get off.

·       Doors in our vehicles that do not press the stop button are not opened.

·       The stop button of the door to be landed should be pressed before the vehicle arrives at the stop. In addition, passengers waiting at the tram station should press the door opening button close to them to open the door after the vehicle stops.

·       The front door should be used when getting on the buses, and the middle and rear doors should be used when getting off.

·       It is forbidden to pass in front of and behind the stationary vehicle. After the vehicle empties the road, make a transition.

·       There is no pile-up in the front of the buses, they move towards the back and make room for passengers to get on from other stops.

·       Passenger entrances at Tram Stations are made from turnstiles.

·       It is forbidden to enter the station except for the turnstile.

·       Passengers with disabled carriages and baby carriages must enter from the place reserved for them from the tram doors.

·       In vehicles and tram Stations;

·       Garbage is not thrown on the floors and spit.

·       Explosive, flammable, flammable and sharp (glass, etc.) materials are not kept and travel cannot be made with these materials.

·       It is forbidden to talk loudly, listen to music and talk with a mobile phone in a way that disturbs other passengers.

·       It is forbidden to occupy more than the space reserved for a passenger in the seats, to act in a way that prevents other passengers from using the seats and to step on the seats.

It is forbidden to use alcohol, tobacco substances and derivatives in public transportation vehicles.

Seats reserved for disabled, elderly, veterans, war cripples, pregnant or pregnant women should be emptied for right holders when necessary, and these citizens should be given priority when getting in and out of vehicles.

No animals are allowed in vehicles and tram stations except for guide dogs and small cage animals accompanying our disabled passengers. (Animals that will harm passengers when released are not taken even if they are in cages)

Due to the silence of the rail system vehicles, caution should be exercised while waiting at the stations and during crossing the road.

It is forbidden to pass between two double-arranged trams and to travel in this section.

It is dangerous and forbidden to cross the yellow line in the Tram Stations.

Our disabled passengers should follow the guide signs for their life safety at the entrance and exit of the tram stations and pass through the turnstile designated for them.

Writing and destroying on vehicle seats, windows and other sections is prohibited. Criminal action will be taken against those who damage vehicles and stops.

It is forbidden to use skateboards, bicycles, skates and similar vehicles in stations and vehicles.

Since public transportation vehicles have an effective braking system, our passengers should be careful during their travels.

Do not open the windows while the air conditioner is running in the vehicles.

Do not keep drivers unnecessarily busy during the journey and do not engage in unnecessary dialogue for your safety.

Continuing Education Center

DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION PLANNING AND RAIL SYSTEM

The Continuing Education Center, which is within the body of the Department of Transportation Planning and Rail Systems, was established in 2014 in order to eliminate the risk factors that our driver personnel will experience during their duties and to provide more equipped, friendly, comfortable and safe services and continues their training.

With the trainings held in Sumer, it is aimed to ensure continuity by providing trainings on topics such as drivers to experience an economical and safe training process, new drivers to get to know the vehicle they will use, learning driving safety and rules, communication, customer relations, public relations, coping with stress and motivation.

Our ongoing trainings;

925 drivers and 115 Trollyman are trained on Anger Control and Correct Communication.

24-hour Occupational Health and Safety training is given to the Transportation Personnel.

Transportation Personnel are provided with 16 Hour Vocational Qualification trainings in Hazardous and Very Hazardous Jobs

Other trainings provided by Sumer;

925 64-hour Diction Course for the Driver.

A 56-hour Development and Adaptation Training Course for Urban Public Transport Drivers was given to 620 drivers.

744 hours of Trollyman-Metro driver training was given to 100 Trollymen.

6 hours of Onboarding training was given to the newly recruited drivers and trollymen.

Bus drivers were given 6 hours of Economic Driving Techniques training.

155 Trollymen were given a 16-hour Personal Development Course.

155 Trollymen were given a 16-hour Professional Ethics Course.

A seminar on "Difficulties faced by disabled people in public transportation" was organized for 925 bus drivers in cooperation with the Konya Branch of the Association for the Protection of the Visually Impaired.
